Bio

Guitarist/manager/producer of Electric Swing Circus, founding partner of Ragtime Records, Director of Swingamajig Festival and a solid background in event production.  Tom has a unique experience of music and the music industry at every level.

 

As a producer Tom brings his experience of taking songs from concept to successful commercial tracks, particularly in capturing the energy of a live band and getting that to translate on a record.  Tom co-produced the most recent Electric Swing Circus album scheduled for release in 2022.

 

Tom has a wide network of session musicians and other industry professionals he works with on a regular basis.  This means access to some really top session players at affordable rates.  Tom's equipment is all mobile and his speciality is turning any space into a world class recording environment.

Electric Swing Circus

Electric Swing Circus wanted to bring a full live horn section in for their new album.  I recorded the hrons and edited the parts before passing to James Bragg for mixing.

Electric Swing Circus

Electric Swing Circus wanted to bring an orchestral sound for one of the new tracks. I wrote the orchestral score and sequenced the virtual instruments along with remote recording individual parts and blending them in.   Here is the orchestra in isolation from the rest of the track.
